Service Has Always Been at the Heart of What I Do

Hi, I’m Derrick Murray, REALTOR® with Black Buffalo Real Estate, serving buyers and sellers throughout the Oklahoma City metro and surrounding communities.

Before real estate, I spent more than 16 years serving in the United States Air Force, including a deployment to Iraq, followed by a career in law enforcement with the Oklahoma City Police Department. Those experiences taught me the importance of integrity, communication, attention to detail, and staying calm when the stakes are high. Today, I bring those same qualities to every client and every real estate transaction.

For me, real estate is another opportunity to serve.

As a veteran, I’m especially passionate about helping fellow veterans and active-duty military members understand and take advantage of their VA home loan benefits. I’ve personally used the VA loan benefit multiple times, so I understand the process not only as a REALTOR®, but as a veteran and homebuyer myself.
